The perfect counter service spot for burgers, hot dogs, fries, and shakes. Their “Busy Burger” is the standard, but there are plenty of options for pescetarians, vegetarians, or even those looking for a turkey burger.

The best place on Taylor Street to get a classic Chicago Italian beef. Just know before you order if you want it with sweet or hot peppers and if you want your sandwich dipped in juice. Al’s also offers the classic Chicago-style hot dog. Just know that if you’re opening yourself to ridicule if you put ketchup on it.
1139 W Taylor St
Cute little spot combining two dessert favorites, mochi & doughnuts, into one perfect sweet treat. They also serve coffee, bubble tea, and their own “unique” take on corn dogs.

Tacos, tortas, burritos and more are available at this local Mexican joint that originated as a food truck. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but if you can only get one thing, order a “California-style” burrito. It’s stuffed with french fries, guacamole, chihuahua cheese and your choice of protein.

Build-your-own Mediterranean restaurant with pitas, wraps, and bowls. The customizable options are great for vegetarians, vegans, and those who may be looking for gluten-free choices.
The Student Center itself has a few fast options available and there are other chain locations close by including Jimmy Johns and Subway.
